July 4th (Independence Day) is a time to celebrate our freedom, the day we became a free and united nation in 1776, the day that the Second Continental Congress adopted the full and formal Declaration of Independence. This was a time when so much history about patriotism, sacrifice, and service to our nation was written with blood, sweat, and tears to bring together our nation as one.

This day is also a time to reflect on all the men and women who fought and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms that we have today.  The United States of America is the greatest country and we should continue to celebrate Independence Day with pride, patriotism, and unity!

Independence Day celebrations that occur throughout the country and here in Denton County gives family and friends an opportunity to gather, remember, reflect and celebrate — celebrate by standing tall and looking at our nation’s colors and being proud to be a free person in a governed nation — by the people and for the people.

 God bless America!

We have an exciting opportunity on Wednesday, July 10th, to meet personally with Dr. Robin Armstrong, our Texas National Committeeman here at Headquarters at 3:45 pm.  As you know, each state has a male and a female representative to the Republican National Committee, which is the top GOP organization in the country, and Dr. Armstrong serves along with our National Committeewoman, Toni Ann Dashiell.   The RNC raises money for Republican candidates, helps train grassroots activists, and plans our national convention.  Please drop by  to visit with Dr. Armstrong and ask him his thoughts on the 2020 elections. You will enjoy meeting him!
